Indian Medical Association (IMA) warns of the third wave if Covid-19 rules are not followed
New Delhi : Under the active leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, with the help of the advanced medical technology and service attitude of the nations’ doctors, India is slowly coming out of the second wave of Covid-19. However, considering the risk of the third wave, it is important to be cautious. IMA press release stated that in the past year of the Covid-19 pandemic, it was concluded that the only way to curb this virus is to get more and more people vaccinated.

IMA further added, tourism, pilgrimage, religious fervour are all needed, but can wait for a few more months. Currently, the tourist places are overcrowded and the Covid-19 protocol is being violated. If this continues, the third wave of Covid-19 is inevitable. It is essential to speed up the vaccination drive and follow Covid-appropriate behaviour aggressively.
