Delhi Bar Council temporarily suspends advocate Iqbal Malik’s license for using his chamber for religious conversion

Considering this, the Bar Council should be vigilant to see that the chambers in all the Courts in the nation are not being used for anti-social activities.

New Delhi – Delhi Bar Council has temporarily suspended the licence of Iqbal Malik practicing in Karkardooma Court; hence, he will not be able to practice till the suspension. He has been accused of using his chamber for religious conversions and Islamic marriages. (Religious fanatic lawyer promoting Love Jihad. This incident shows, why the anti-Love Jihad law needs to be implemented all over the country. – Editor) It is said that Iqbal Malik had made his chamber into a mosque. Various programmes were being organised there. The Bar Council had given the order to seal Iqbal’s chamber for its investigation. Iqbal has been asked to respond to the Special Disciplinary Committee of the Council. It has been also stated that if he fails to submit it, appropriate action will be taken.
