103rd Saint of Sanatan, H.H. Sadashiv Samant from Thane, who was in constant state of bhav, renounces His body
Thane (Maharashtra) – Sanatan’s 103rd Saint H.H. Sadashiv Samant (Age 84) renounced His body at His residence at 7.30 a.m. on 10th June 2021.
He stayed at Sanatan’s Ashram at Devad (Panvel) from 2017 to 2021 and then at Thane. He used to be in constant state of bhav (Spiritual emotion). His body was cremated on 11th June.
H.H. Sadashiv Samant attained Sainthood on 9th August 2019. He used to perform satseva related to Sanatan’s sattvik products diligently while staying in Devad Ashram. H.H. Sadashiv Samant used to participate in the physical exercise class every day at 7 a.m. with the seekers in the Ashram. He used to chant with yearning and offer His prayers and express gratitude with bhav. He used to chant to alleviate the distress of seekers.
H.H. Sadashiv Samant started performing spiritual practice in 1996 under the guidance of Sanatan Sanstha. In the Year 2000, he performed satsevas such as worshipping Idols at Sanatan’s Sevakendra in Thane, helping in the kitchen, collecting donations, looking after the accounts etc.
