Media is spreading fear and panic among people by spreading misinformation about COVID-19
Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao`s allegations
If media is spreading misinformation and rumours, why is the Government not acting against it? Or is it just a baseless allegation by Mr Rao ?
Warangal (Telangana) – Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao said media is creating fear and panic among people by spreading misinformation and rumours about COVID-19.
‘Recovered from #COVID19 just by using paracetamol and antibiotics,’ says #Telangana Chief Minister #KChandrashekarRao; asks media to act responsibly.https://t.co/Xq2YmJ7dc4

K Chandrashekar Rao further said,
Were people getting beds in Government hospitals before the covid-19 pandemic ? Doctors never deny treatment to patients. They know that a poor can get treated only in the Government hospitals. If there are no beds available, they treat their patients on the floor. Media takes the pictures and publish them saying in Government hospitals, doctors leave the patients on the floor.
He stated that when he had contracted the Covid, he recovered just by using paracetamol and immunity boosters. Mr Rao said rumours are being spread about black fungus and yellow fungus by some newspaper or channel whose name he could not remember. No one knows for sure if this fungus is living or non-living, but people are dying out of fear and panic. These news channels will be cursed, he added.
