Flipkart hurts religious sentiments of crores of Hindus by putting on sale a picture of Deity Shiva and Devi Parvati in a sexual act on a ‘mobile cover’ on its website

That ‘cover’ was taken out from its online sales platform after an appeal made by Hindu Janjagruti Samiti
(The purpose of publishing these photographs is not to hurt the religious sentiments of the people but to make it known as a satire. – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat) |
Mumbai – Flipkart had put a mobile ‘cover’ on its website for sale which had a picture of Deity Shiva and Devi Parvati in a sexual act. It was subsequently removed after an appeal made by ‘Hindu Janjagruti Samiti’ (HJS). (This is indeed a great achievement of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti – Editor)
The insulting mobile cover for Samsung mobiles was available on sale. HJS created an awareness of this on Twitter and urged Flipkart to immediately take it off. Many devout supported HJS campaign and protested against Flipkart and demanded removal of the ‘phone cover’. Finally, Flipkart removed the ‘cover’. (The act of devout Hindus who raised their voice against this is commendable. Other Hindus should derive inspiration from it. – Editor)
.@Flipkart On behalf of all the devout Hindus we thank you for responding favourably to our sentiments. We hope that your platform will not host such denigratory product in future too. https://t.co/powT2SEaZG
