Muslim community avoiding Covid vaccination : Former Uttarakhand CM Trivendra Singh Rawat
Rishikesh (Uttarakhand) – The former CM of Uttarakhand and senior BJP leader Trivendra Singh Rawat, speaking to the reporters at the World Blood Donor Day in Rishikesh said, “The Muslim community in our country at present – I am deliberately taking their name – is keeping away from vaccination. They still have hesitation, apprehensions and misconceptions”. He appealed to social organisations and the media to raise awareness among the Muslim community that the vaccines are not harmful.

Further, Rawat said that the Pakistan Government has taken firm actions like blocking phones or stopping salaries of those hesitating to take the vaccine jabs. These type of measures will go a long way in creating awareness among the masses.
