Twitter restores blue verified badge on Indian Vice-President Venkaiah Naidu’s Twitter account Govt intends to take action on Twitter
Blue verified badge from Mohan Bhagwat’s and other RSS leaders’ twitter account disappears Indian Govt on the move against Twitter
Just as Twitter was compelled to reinstate the ‘Blue Tick’ verification as a result of a backlash, likewise Hindus should raise their voice against Facebook’s closing the Facebook pages of Hindu organisations and pressurise Facebook to resume those pages. Taking the matter seriously, the Government should action against Facebook.
New Delhi: The ‘blue tick’ verification was removed by the micro-blogging site Twitter, from the personal Twitter handle of Indian Vice President Venkaiah Naidu. When the unilateral decision was opposed, the ‘blue tick’ reappeared. Clarifying this, Twitter India said that the account was not logged in for a long time, as a result, the ‘blue tick’ disappeared. Venkaiah Naidu’s Twitter handle was inactive since July 2020. Why the ‘blue tick’ disappear arbitrarily from the Vice President’s account ? The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting is intending to send a notice to Twitter India demanding a clarification. The Government of India feels that it is an insult to the constitutional post of India.
