New Delhi’s ‘All India Institute of Ayurveda’ successful in treating 600 Covid patients
No Causalities and none of the front line workers infected.
Will those questioning Ayurveda and thinking it to be inferior say something ?
New Delhi – The ‘All India Institute of Ayurveda’ (AIIA) has successfully treated 600 Covid patients by following an integrated system of Ayurveda and allopathy. While there were no casualties reported, 94% of the patients were only on Ayurvedic treatment. Allopathic medicines were used wherever required as per ICMR guidance on 6% of the patients. Along with Ayurveda, ‘Yogic’ exercises and ‘Pranayam’ were incorporated. One critical patient was referred to another hospital where he succumbed to the disease. None of the staff of AIIA or doctors got any infection.
Prof. Tanuja Nesari Director of AIIA that the institution has Allopaths’ also. All the staff of AIIA also practise Yoga regularly. The Ayurvedic treatment consists of Guduchyadi kadha, Nagaradi kadha, Sudarshan Ghanvati, Shanshamani Vati and AYUSH-64, an Ayurvedic formulation developed by the Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences.
