Israel’s ultramodern ‘Iron Dome’ technology proves to be a boon !
Israel’s Iron Dome technology has proved to be a successful shield against Hamas’s rocket attacks. Iron Dome is a mobile all-weather air defence system developed in 2011 by Rafael Advanced Defence Systems and Israel Aerospace Industries with the US’s assistance. The system is designed to intercept and destroy missiles, short-range rockets and artillery shells fired towards Israel. Israel uses this defence system to destroy missiles aimed at its cities.
