Nationalist and devout Hindu TV journalist Rohit Sardana dies
New Delhi – Renowned journalist and TV anchor Rohit Sardana, aged 42 years, passed away due to heart attack at Metro Hospital in Noida on 30th April. Although he was covid positive, later had a negative report. On 29th April he was hospitalised due to breathing difficulty. He worked for a Hindi news channel ‘Aaj Tak’ and anchored the program ‘Dangal’. In 2018, he was honoured with the Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi Award. Prior to Aaj Tak, Sardana was with Zee news channel where he anchored the program ‘Taal Thok Ke’. He presented various topics related to the Nation and Hindutva fearlessly. In a short span of time he had earned a name for himself as an excellent anchor. PM Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and several others expressed their grief though Twitter.

- Irfan Basir Wani has commented on Facebook, ‘Sardana used to spread malice towards Muslims, and was barking at the Tablighi Jamaat last year. The election of Bengal spreading the corona and Haridwar Kumbh was not required. That is why Allah planned and chose Sardana to go to hell’.
- A twitter handle ‘Aks’ wrote, ‘The one trying to send Muslims to Pakistan has himself gone to hell’. Similar types of tweets were made by several religious fanatics.
