Non-compliance with Covid-19 protocols has worsened the situation in India

This situation arose in the country because of not imposing strict restrictions and ignoring the lack of discipline by all the rulers and parties till now

Geneva (Switzerland) – The mutation of coronavirus is not only responsible for the coronavirus tsunami in India. After the first wave ended, the coronavirus situation in India got out of control due to the large scale election campaigns, excessive mass gatherings, multiple variants of the corona vaccine and slow pace of vaccination. This situation arose due to not following the Covid-19 protocols. Due to the second wave, India’s health system is on the verge of complete collapse, said the Spokesperson of the World Health Organisation (WHO) on India.

  1. The Spokesperson of WHO, Tarik Jasarevic said that while only 15 % of corona patients require hospital treatment, 85 % of the patients can be treated at home, very few patients require oxygen; but due to lack of qualified information, people in India hurried to get their relatives admitted to the hospitals. People need to be informed about home remedies.
  2. The President of WHO, Dr Ghebreyasis, said that a team of 2,000 experts will be sent to India with the supply of 4,000 oxygen concentrators (equipment for separating oxygen from any gas and stocking it).

World failed to protect India – Dr. Anthony Fauci, Chief Medical Advisor to US President

All the countries of the world have completely failed to protect India from the corona pandemic, saying this, Dr. Anthony Fauci, Chief Medical Advisor to the US President, expressed his unhappiness.

Dr. Anthony Fauci further stated that, rich countries have failed to provide necessary health facilities to the needy nations. The current state of India shows this asymmetry of the world. The fight of global pandemic should be fought by global solidarity. Under the Covax campaign, The World Health Organisation is promptly trying to help India. Wealthy countries should take this responsibility.
