Ramayan and Mahabharat to be part of school curriculum in Saudi Arabia
In a fundamentalist Islamic country like Saudi Arabia, which represents the Islamic nations, it is decided to teach the Ramayan and the Mahabharat; but the sad thing is teaching Bhagwad Gita in schools in India flares the secularists.
Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) – Saudi Arabia has included Ramayan and Mahabharat in the curriculum of its schools. Prince Mohammed bin Salman of Saudi Arabia has said, “Under the vision 2030, it is necessary to study the history and culture of other countries.” Therefore, Ramayan and Mahabharat will be taught in Saudi Arabia. It is said that this will help in providing information on the subjects like Yoga, Ayurveda, etc. of Indian culture. Apart from this, the learning of English language has been made mandatory.
