China refuses to disengage at Gogra, Hot Springs and Depsang

China had shown willingness to disengage during the previous commander level talks

It is evident yet again that China cannot be trusted. Even if the Chinese Army were to disengage, they would have infiltrated into India with greater speed again! Therefore India has to be extremely alert about China!

New Delhi – China has refused to withdraw its army from the borders of Hot Springs, Gogra and Depsang in East Ladakh. A discussion was held for 13 hours during the 11th round of Commander level talks last week between India and China. During these talks China had expressed consent to withdraw its troops from Gogra, Hot Springs, and Depsang Patrollling Point 15 and Patrolling Point 7 A. But now China has refused to disengage. This makes it evident that China wishes the Indian Army should accept the Chinese Army patrolling in the patrolling point 15 and patrolling point -17 A. A defiant China said that “India should be happy in what it has received so far.”
