Drastic rise in the Covid-19 patients amid elections in 5 states !

Bengal sees a 420% rise, while Assam hits 532% rise in patients !

Who should be held responsible for this ?

New Delhi – Statistic of last 15 days shows Covid-19 outbreak among 5 states facing assembly elections. Assam, Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry and Kerala have hit 532%, 420%, 159%, 165% and 103% rise from 1st April to 14th April. The death rate has increased by 45% in these states. Bengal has another 4 poll phases to go. Hence ithe number of covid-19 infected patients is likely to rise tremendously over the the next few days.

1.  As compared to other states 537 new infections and only 6 deaths were noted from 16th March to 31st March in Assam; however from 1st April to 14th April 3,398 were newly infected and death toll went to 15.
2.  8000 covid-19 infections and 32 deaths were on the record in Bengal from 16th March to 31st March; however the number of new infections increased up to 41,927 and deaths up to 127 from 1st April to 14th April.
3.  Pondicherry had daily rise of just 50 new patients from November to February. 1,400 new infections and 9 deaths were recorded from 16th March to 31st March; whereas 3,721 infections and 15 deaths were recorded from 1st April to 14th April.
4. Tamil Nadu has 25,000 infections and 163 deaths on record from 16th March to 31st March; while the number of infections has reached to 65,000 and deaths went up to 232 from 1st April to 14th April.
5. From 16th March to 31st March 30,390 new covid-19 patients and 199 deaths were on record in Kerala; while the number of new infections has reached to 61,793 and deaths up to 204 during 1st half of April.
