Yet another temple attacked in Bangladesh after PM Narendra Modi’s visit !

Religious fanatics vandalise murti of Deity Saraswati

Hindus strongly feel that the Indian Government ought to make efforts to stop such incidents!

Dhaka (Bangladesh) – Religious fanatics vandalised a murti of Deity Saraswati in a temple located in Dhunot, a Sub district of Bogula District here. The Police have registered a case regarding this incident. After Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Bangladesh, a 400 year old temple in the sub district Mahamadpur of Magur district was vandalised. Kalimata and Sri Krishna temples in Brahmanbaria were also attacked and destroyed.

Sumotirani Sebayat, the temple administrator said, “I performed puja at night and went home. When I came to the temple the next morning at 4 am, the temple gates were open. Clothes were also found to be burnt. The murti of Deity Saraswati was also vandalised.”
