Dhaka (Bangladesh) – 400-year-old Paruarkul Ashtagram Maha crematorium and Radhagobind Ashram have reportedly been burnt down by unidentified miscreants in Mohammadpur Upazila of Bangladesh’s Magura District. Idols and a chariot of the Temple were reduced to ashes in the fire.
Swapna Rani Biswas, former Vice-chairman of Mohammadpur Upazila Parishad and former secretary of the Bangladesh Hindu Buddhist Christian Oikya Parishad informed about the incident. After Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi’s visit to Bangladesh, activists of Jihadi organisation Hefazat-e-Islam vandalised the Idols of Maa Kali and Shrikrishna of a Hindu Temple in Brahmanbaria.
