Karnataka government’s anti-cattle slaughter ordinance constitutionally valid, says Karnataka High Court
A slap on the face of the Congress and so called modernists who opposed ban on cow slaughter!
Bengaluru – The Karnataka High Court has declared that the Karnataka Government’s ordinance related to the ban on cow slaughter is ’constitutionally-valid’. This decision has cleared the obstacles in implementing the ban. As per the ordinance, a person who engages in cow slaughter can be fined from 50 thousand to 1 lakh rupees, and be imprisoned for 3 to 7 years.
The Karnataka government contended before the court that the ordinance was in consonance with the Directive Principles of State Policy in the constitution. @nolanentreeo#Karnataka #AntiCowSlaughterBillhttps://t.co/CzUWgoaySU
