Nine Nations seek ‘made in India’ Covid vaccine
New Delhi – India has developed an indigenous Corona vaccine and has permitted its emergency use, after which 9 nations have demanded this indigenous Indian vaccine. The President of Brazil, Jair Bolsonaro, in a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, urged India to immediately supply vaccines to Brazil. But, Indian policy dictates that the vaccine will first be given to the neighbouring nations. The corona vaccine will later be exported to other countries of the world.
Brazil, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Myanmar, Bangladesh, South Africa and other countries are seeking the Corona vaccine from India. India will first supply the vaccine to Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Afghanistan.

China has acknowledged the Indian expertise in its indigenous production of Coronavirus vaccines. The CCP mouthpiece, Global Times, has reported “Experts suggested that India’s vaccines are no less competitive than Chinese Covid-19 vaccines in both research and production capacity, considering that India has the world’s largest vaccine manufacturer and lower costs in labour and facilities.”
