BJP MP Tejasvi Surya writes to civic commissioner
Muslim dominated areas in Bengaluru should not be named after Muslim figures !
Bengaluru – Naming roads from Muslim dominated area after Muslim figures is a communal mentality of two-nation theory. It is quite close to Muslim League’s 2-nation theory and separate electorates for Hindus and Muslims demand. This is dangerous and must be condemned, said BJP Bengaluru MP Tejasvi Surya in a letter to civic commissioner, N Manjunath Prasad.
Along with Sri @AnantkumarH, I'm filing objections to proposed naming of roads in Padarayanpura with only Muslim names

Surya added in the letter that there is no dearth of non-Muslims and patriots after whom the roads can be renamed. He requested the commissioner to reconsider his decision of naming the streets after Muslim figures.
