UP Government submits proposal to the law department for an Act against love jihad
The BJP government at the Center should make efforts to legislate such an Act in the entire country instead of States legislating it separately in their States.
Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) – The Uttar Pradesh Government’s Home Ministry has sent a proposal to the law department to enact a law against ‘love jihad’. The Government has decided to legislate as the incidents of love jihad have increased in the State. The proposal has been sent in that context.
