Idols are vandalised in Bangladesh before the start of Durga Puja
In Islamic countries Hindus and their seats of faith are insecure. The Indian Government should bring pressure on the concerned countries and force them to protect Hindus and their seats of faith.
Dhaka (Bangladesh) – Just before a of commencement of Durga Puja, idols were vandalised in Boalmari in Faridpur and Araihazar in Narayanganj. Police have arrested two Muslim youth Mohammad Nayan Sheikh (18) and Mohammad Raju Mridha (25) residents of the same village on suspicion of involvement in the incident of iconoclasm. Both the incidents occurred on 20th October night. The administration has instructed the pooja mandals to install CCTV cameras in all the puja pandals and temples. The administration will extend all cooperation to install cameras.

Meanwhile, unidentified persons vandalised the Durga idol of Gaur Nitai Akhra Durga Mandap at Araihazar in Narayanganj on 1st October. The incident has caused panic among the Hindu community in the area.
Earlier, Goddess Kali idol was vandalised in the house of Nripen Malo in the night of 19th October by Jihadi people. However, so far no one has been arrested by the police in this incident. (What else can you expect from fanatic police in Bangladesh ! – Editor)
