Fanatics encroach Bamdeveshwar mountain in Banda (Uttar Pradesh) and build a Mosque !
Police and Administration Inactive
- A question arises in the minds of Hindus – In spite of the BJP’s rule in Uttar Pradesh, how can fanatics build a mosque by attacking the ancient faith centres of Hindus !
- Hindus expect that the Chief Minister of the State, Yogi Adityanath, should take a note of this incident and demolish this encroachment !
Banda (U.P.) – Religious fanatics encroached on the Bamdeveshwar Mountain and built a mosque. Two years ago some religious fanatics came here and threatened Hindus saying, “This land belongs to our ancestors and their dead bodies have been buried here. We are going to build their tomb here. If you do not leave this place, your children will die”.
Due to this threat, Hindus left the land and after that, the religious fanatics built a mosque there. Now they are preparing to build 3-4 mosques here. The fact is that not a single Muslim lives in the around this Mountain area. Previously there was not a single house here. However, now the surrounding land is being used for the erection of illegal buildings. A mosque is also being built in the foothills of this Mountain.
Prayers are offered in the mosque built on the Mountain. Religious fanatics come here at night and go back early in the morning. Despite the fact that this is Government land, the administration has not taken any action against the encroachments nor any investigation has been conducted by the Police.
In this context, the city President of Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Mahendra Chauhan, said that there was no mosque on this Mountain earlier. It has been the seat of faith for Hindus for centuries. Therefore, the construction of a mosque here means that some people do not want us to live in peace.
