While speaking to the ANI news agency, MLA Sayyad Ahmad Pasha Qadri said, ‘On 15th February 2005, the then Chief Minister Y.S. Rajshekhar Reddy put forward a condolence resolution on the sad demise of P.V. Narsimha Rao. Our party cleared the stand on this occasion. The leader of AIMIM Asaduddin Owaisi had stated, ‘Indian Muslims are still infuriated with P.V. Narsimha Rao. He allowed the demolition of Babri Masjid.’ Qadri stated further, ‘the history will never forget the demolition of Babri Masjid. The incident took place due to the inaction of the then Prime Minister P.V. Narsimha Rao. This is the root cause of the demolition. Stanch Hindu power centres mushroomed everywhere and P.V. Narsimha Rao is responsible for their rise’.
