Female Police Constable Sunita Yadav decides to resign from Police Services
- She admonished friends of the son of a Minister roaming on the road during the lockdown.
- It is embarrassing for the Government that a dutiful female Police Constable who reprimanded the offender has to resign ! The Government must support the Police Constable and initiate strict action against the lawbreakers !
Surat (Gujarat) – Brave female Police Constable Sunita Yadav stopped the son of State Health Minister and his friends roaming freely in his father’s car, during the lockdown and rebuked him. She has now decided to resign from the Police Services. Now she wishes to appear for UPS to become an IPS officer. The President of Delhi Women Commission Swati Maliwal in her reaction to the incident said, “Instead of appreciating the daring Police Constable and awarding her, she has to resign from the service. It is a disgrace to the administration.”
Sunita Yadav met the Police Commissioner Rajendra Brahmbhatt and said, “I was merely performing the duty and did nothing inappropriate.” She expressed the desire to resign and become an IPS officer. Brahmbhatt wished her well. If she has any grudge she should give a written complaint, he added. He informed that he did not receive any complaint from her.
