123 Christian return to Hindu Dharma in Visakhapatnam
Hindus who have been converted either forcibly or under allurement in the last 1,200 years and whose next generations wish to return to Hindu Dharma, should be helped by legislating a special Act by the Central Government. Suitable provisions should be made in the Act to provide security and food to those returning to their original Dharma.
Visakhapatnam (Andhra Pradesh) – Under the leadership of Sri Sai Datta Swami, 123 Christians decided to come back to their original Hindu Dharma. A major program was arranged on 12th July under the auspicious of GHHF. The following items were given to each converted Christian into Hinduism. Sri Rama Pattabhishekam Photo, Hanuman flag to put in front of the house, OM stickers to put it on the front door, Rudraksha mala to wear, Kankanama, Raksha, Anjaneya Yantra, Bhagavad Gita book, Dhoti, Saree, clothes for children, Notepads for children, Turmeric, Kumkum, and other items.
Global Hindu Heritage Foundation (GHHF) in association with Sri Saidatta Manasa Peetham has been planning to organise this Ghar Wapsi for more than two months. Sri Sai Datta Swami went to many villages and talked about the richness of our culture knowing that they became Christians not because of the message of the Bible but because of their financial circumstances, health-related issues, deceptive interpretation of Hindu scriptures and demeaning the multiplicity of Gods and Goddesses. (This goes to show why Hindus are converted. Therefore, it is necessary to impart education on Dharma to Hindus to prevent their conversions. Now at least, the devout Hindu organisations should impart education on Dharma to Hindus who have returned to Hindu Dharma. – Editor)
