China will pull back its Army from Ladakh
Army Commanders of both countries reach an agreement
In the dialogue on 6th June, China agreed to pull back the Army. However, it did not abide and built a patrol post at the site. India objected and it turned into a major clash. Though China agreed to pull back the Army, we cannot trust and the Indian Army should always be on full alert.
New delhi – 1. The Indian and Chinese Army officers met at Malda, near LAC in the Chinese region, of Aksai China. The Commander of 14th Core Lt.Gen., Harinder Singh participated in the talks on behalf of India. Sources claimed, ‘India asked China to move back from the Pangong Tso region of East Ladakh.’ The Chinese attack at Galwan was a premeditated plan, clarified the Indian Army. The Chinese Army had moved forward from the Finger 8 to Finger 4 regions. India categorically told China that the Chinese Army must go back to Finger 4. Later, to pacify the situation, both Armies agreed to move away from the disputed land.
2. On 23rd June, Chief of Army Staff, General Manoj Naravane went to Leh. He will hold talks with the 14th battalion of the Indian Army. He had a meeting with Army Commanders in Delhi on 22nd June. The topic of discussion were disputes at Ladakh, Arunachal Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and other border areas.
China accepts the death of a Commanding officer and 20 soldiers
For the first time, China consented to the death of a Commanding officer and about 20 soldiers in the clashes at Galwan valley. The Government newspaper of China, ‘Global Times’ stated, ‘ China will not declare the death toll not to escalate the tensions at borders.’
