Consequent to protests by Muslims in Kuwait and Saudi Arabia, PUBG removed the Idol worship part
If any part of the App was derogatory to Hindu religion and after Hindu had opposed, would PUBG act swiftly to remove it ?
Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) – After angry protests by Muslims and Imams in Kuwait and Saudi Arabia, the App, PUBG decided to remove the portion depicting Idol worship, in the new version of the video game. Idol worship is contrary to Islam and resulted in widespread outcry. South Korean company, ‘Bluhol Ink’, makes PUBG the video gaming app.
Tencent has removed an idol worship feature from PUBG Mobile in Muslim majority countries after complaints from countries such as Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Indonesia.
