A religious fanatic of PFI arrested for the riots in Meerut during anti-CAA protests
The Government should start prosecution in Fast Track Courts against such miscreants and strive for maximum punishment to the culprits.
Meerut (Uttar Pradesh) – Mufti Shehzad, an activist of Popular Front of India (PFI) has been arrested in the case of violence that took place during anti-Citizenship (Amendment) Act (CAA) protests in December 2019. Shehzad has been alleged for instigating the religious fanatics for riots in which 6 were dead and sixty were injured. During this riot, an attempt was also made to burn thirty Policemen alive.
