Sonam Wangchuk says, ‘Boycott Chinese goods, delete TikTok’
To boycott all Chinese goods and teach it a lesson is like a revolution for the Indians.
New Delhi – Educator and innovator Sonam Wangchuk created a buzz online after he asked people to boycott Chinese goods. Sonam Wangchuk in his video can be seen as appealing to all the citizens of the country to give up on Chinese products in the wake of the border tension. His video caption reads: CHINA KO JAWAB | Sena degi bullet se, Naagrik dengey wallet se.
Sonam Wangchuk appeals to all Indian citizens and people worldwide to boycott Chinese products and stop virtually financing the current military bullying in Ladakh and the South China Sea. Our wallet response of boycotting Chinese products will hurt their economy and take them by surprise and may even lead to what they fear most… a democratic uprising and overthrow of the totalitarian regime.
Wangchuk further said,
1. We should boycott ‘Chinese software’ in a week and ‘Chinese hardware in a year. We should resolve not to buy a single product made in China, whatever may be the consequences.
2. Presently, we are dependent on China for hardware, the raw material for medicines, medical equipment, footwear, etc. because we do not produce sufficient goods and whatever is produced is costly. Still, to buy Chinese goods is like pouring money in China. China will purchase weapons through this money and use against us.
3. If we purchase indigenous goods though these are little costly, the money will be used for labourers and farmers.
4. We should create markets which do not sell Chinese goods, thus breaking the monopoly of China. The citizens initiative for this is important. Only people can decide what the Government should do. If the mentality of the people changed, the Government would also change its policies. Therefore, we must take the right steps right now.
The Indian money which is being transferred to China can become mean to kill Indian soldiers through weapons purchased through this money – Wangchuk
Wangchuk further said, “This is the right time to give fitting reply to China by the citizens of India along with soldiers. Indian imports from China are to the tune of Rs. 5.2 lakh crore; whereas, the exports are Rs. 1.2 lakh crore. Thus there is a shortfall of Rs. 4 lakh crores between import and export. This very money which is being transferred to China can become mean to kill Indian soldiers through weapons purchased through this money. To avoid this, if a campaign is started by 130 crore Indian people and 3 crore overseas Indians to boycott Chinese products throughout the world, there will be a very good response”.
