Hand over Palghar Lynching case and the mysterious death of Adv. Digvijay Trivedi to CBI – Hindu Vidhidnya Parishad
Considering the sensitivity of the case, Hindus feel that the Government should have voluntarily handed over the case to CBI rather than devout Hindu Organisations needing to raise such a demand.
Aurangabad (Maharashtra) – Shri Kalpavrukshagiri Maharaj, a septuagenarian Sanyasi aged 70 yrs. and a relatively very young Shri Sushilgiri Maharaj, aged 30 yrs were murdered in cold blood on 16th April 2020 at Gadchinchale Village, Palghar District, State of Maharashtra. Adv. Digvijay Trivedi who was representing the Sadhus as an advocate in the competent court of the law met with a fateful accident and died on the spot on 13th May while he was travelling to Dahanu court.
‘The matter in which two Sadhus were killed brutally, and the so-called accidental death of Adv. Trivedi cannot be a mere coincidence of sorts. These incidents have to be investigated by an impartial agency like CBI. It is high time that the State Government hand this case to the CBI because the Police machinery here in the State of Maharashtra is not allowed to discharge their duties and instead they are being attacked by miscreants for more than 160 times’. This representation was submitted to the Union Minister for Home Affairs by Adv. Suresh Kulkarni, a practising advocate in High Court, Secretary of High Court Bar Association and Founder Member of Hindu Vidhidnya Parishad. “You are requested to please treat this matter as the most burning issue and kindly issue necessary orders for a thorough investigation”, said Adv. Kulkarni in his memorandum.
