Government should immediately seize the gold lying in temples ! :  Congress leader and former Maharashtra CM Prithviraj Chavan

Why does Chavan not say that money should be taken from mosques and churches ? Why is the ‘secular’ Congress eyeing money of Hindu temples ?

Does he have the guts to take back funds given to Waqf Board and Church during the Congress rule ?

Mumbai – ‘The Government should immediately seize the gold lying in all temple trusts in the country. The World Gold Council estimates that the country has 1 trillion (Rs. 76 lakh crore) worth of gold’, tweeted Congress leader and former Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan. He added that the Government should seize the gold on the condition that it would be repaid either in kind or cash at 1 or 2% rate of interest. (Money in Hindu temples is God’s money according to Dharma. It should also be realised that foreign institutions publish statistics of Hindu temple funds and Congress uses this basis. – Editor)

Chavan tweeted against the backdrop of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s announcement of a Rs. 20 lakh crore package to make the economy selfreliant. “Since the introduction of lockdown in the country, I have been demanding that at least 10% of GDP or Rs. 21 lakh crore be given to save the economy”, he said.

When will the Congress appeal using the money of other religious places ? : HJS

“The secular Congress leaders who have seized temple money and obtained political benefits out of it are conveniently quiet over money of the Church, Mosques and Madarasas, but speak about only temple money. During the coronavirus pandemic peril, every Hindu temple has contributed to the public exchequer. On the other hand, Prithviraj Chavan should declare the assistance provided by the Church, Mosques and Madarasas. So far, the Congress has never thought of the interests of Hindus. What else can be expected from such a Congress ?”, said Mr. Sunil Ghanwat (Organiser of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti for Maharashtra)
