Fearing Indian retaliation, Pakistan increases patrolling by its fighter jets
New Delhi – In a significant move, the Pakistani Air Force has increased flying operations over its territory after the death of an Indian Army Colonel in an encounter with terrorists in the Handwara area of Jammu and Kashmir.
“Soon after the death of the Colonel, the Pakistani Air Force increased its patrols involving its mix of fighter aircraft including the F-16s and JF-17 which were being constantly monitored by our surveillance platforms”, top Government sources said. Soon after that, Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan tweeted about a possible false-flag operation by India after New Delhi said that Pakistan was behind the violence taking place in India. He called upon the International community to pay attention to it.
