Bangladeshi soldiers arguing with Indian soldiers flee, seeing villagers gathering with axes and batons

Incident at the India-Bangladesh border

Malda (Bengal) – A tense situation emerged on the India-Bangladesh border in Bengal’s Malda District. While the Border Security Force soldiers were working on fencing the Indian border, they were objected to by the Bangladeshi army. This led to an argument between the two armies. The villagers of Sukdebpur here came to know about this and reached the border with big knives, axes and batons. Seeing the fierce appearance of the Indian citizens, the Bangladeshi soldiers got scared and fled from there. At this time, the villagers raised slogans like ‘Bharat Mata ki Jai’, ‘Vande Mataram’ and ‘Jai Shriram’.

Both countries had already agreed to the project of fencing the border. Still, Bangladeshi soldiers came to oppose it. The Border Security Force informed Bangladesh about this dispute at the official level. After this, the dispute was resolved. BJP MLA from Bengal and Leader of Opposition Suvendu Adhikari has posted a video of this incident.

Editorial Perspective

Considering why the Bangladeshi army is trying to provoke the Indian army despite its lack of capabilities, it has become extremely necessary for India to become aggressive now.
