Hindutva activists thwart the conversion of over 150 Hindus in Pimparkhed (Pune)
Pune – A prayer meeting aimed at religious conversion was organised on 25th December at a Christian prayer site operating under the name “Ashirwad Suvarta Pratishthan” in Pimparkhed, Taluka Shirur, Pune. (This reveals how Christians deceitfully establish institutions with Hindu names to convert Hindus – Editor). Over 150 Hindus attended this event. When an attempt was made to halt the programme, strong opposition arose from those present. Despite this, leaders of Hindutva organisations, including Madhavrao Khot, Project Head of the Dharma Jagaran branch of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) for Western Maharashtra, Santosh Gaikwad, Pune Division Coordinator, Kamlesh Tule, President of Shri Shiva Pratishthan Hindustan, Ambegaon and Taluka Coordinator Sachin Tagad, educated the attendees and successfully prevented the conversions. Subsequently, Police forces arrived at the scene and stopped the prayer meeting.
A similar unauthorised prayer meeting was organised in Jambut, Taluka Shirur, Pune. Even after the Police decided to halt the event, over 100 people continued to remain at the venue. In this tense situation, Hindutva activists presented their stance to the attendees and, with the support of the Police administration, stopped the prayer meeting.
