Prayagraj – For the first time, an underwater drone system has been deployed during the Mahakumbh Parva in Prayagraj this year to monitor underwater activities. On the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Inspector General of Police Dr Rajiv Narayan Mishra deployed this system. This system is very fast and has the ability to track activities up to a distance of 100 metre underwater and convey accurate information to the Police. The system will be operational 24 hours underwater.
Special system implemented for the safety of each devotee
A strategy has been devised for the safety of each devotee. For the safety of the devotees, systems like PAC, NDRF, SRF have also been deployed. These teams will be deployed 24 hours a day in boats carrying 700 flags. A team called ‘Remote Life Buoy’ has also been deployed along the river. This team is capable of reaching anywhere in the water at high speed and taking the devotees in distress to a safe place.
Devotees will be allowed entry to the Mahakumbh area after a three-level scrutiny
Keeping in mind the crowd at famous temples and major places in Prayagraj on the occasion of New Year, the Police have increased security. Every devotee coming to the District will be checked. After a three-level check, devotees will be allowed to enter the Mahakumbh area. For this, there will be checkpoints at various places. Along with this, modern systems like AI Cameras, drones and anti-drones have also been implemented for the safety of devotees. For security, intelligence systems have been activated in the entire surrounding area including Prayagraj, informed Rajesh Dwivedi, Senior Superintendent of Police of Mahakumbh Nagari.
