Chief Minister’s ‘Ladki Bahin Yojna’ December instalment started
Possibility of getting ₹2,100 in 2 months
Mumbai – A few days ago, in the winter session in Nagpur, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar had informed that the December installment of the ‘Chief Minister Ladki Bahin Yojana’ would be paid soon. After that, there was discussion about ‘When will the December instalment of the scheme be deposited ?’ The State Government has started the process of paying the instalment of ₹1,500 to women under this scheme from 24th December.

During the assembly elections, the Mahayuti had assured that the amount of the ‘Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana’ would be increased to ₹2,100; however, the summer session will begin in March, at which time the budget will be presented, i.e. after 2 months, an instalment of ₹2,100 can be received. Women will receive money in 2 phases in December 2024. In the first phase, ₹2 crore 35 lakh will be deposited in the accounts of women as ₹1,500, while verification of 25 lakh new applications received before the elections is underway. After that, the instalment will be deposited in the accounts of these women. A provision of ₹3,500 crore has been made for the next month’s instalment after December.
