New Delhi – The supreme court stated, the recruitment of 25000, teachers and non-teaching staff has several flaws in the selection of candidates. If the State government was aware of the irregularities why teachers were appointed for additional posts ?
Supreme Court observed, despite the flaws in the selection of 25000 teaching and non- teaching staff , why there were appointments for the additional post ? After the irregularities got exposed, the Kolkata High Court had ordered cancellation of these appointments; to which Supreme Court issued stay order. A division bench of Chief Justice Sanjeev Khanna and Justice Sanjay Kumar said, since disreputable candidates could not be identified, the High Court nullified the entire process of recruitment.What was the purpose of creating additional posts?Why were such candidates not expelled ? A few disreputable people cannot be the reason for the rejection of the whole lot. The disreputable candidates can be separated in various categories.
Why was no action taken after the irregularities in teacher’s process? – Supreme Court reprimands Mamata Banerjee’s Government.
The Bengal Government has become so unresponsive that no matter how harshly the Court reprimands it, the words always fall on deaf ears.
