Hindus hoist saffron flag over a temple in Bareilly (UP) that was seized by Muslims 40 years ago
Bareilly (Uttar Pradesh) – A few days ago, a Hindu temple that had been closed for many years was found here. Wajid Ali, who was appointed as a watchman here, had taken control of this temple. He stopped the devotees coming to the temple and threw away the idols. He had occupied this temple for more than 40 years. Now, after Hindu organizations have exposed it, they have removed the Islamic flag flying there and put up a saffron flag. Also, the administration has investigated the matter of the occupation of the temple and given a notice to Ali to vacate the temple and his house.
🙏🏼🕉️ Big win for Hindus! 🎉

According to local Rakesh Singh, his ancestors had built the temple of Maharani Ganga here. After that, idols of many Deities were installed in this temple according to the rituals. In a short time, this temple became the centre of faith of the surrounding Hindus. Regular worship started here; however, about 50 years ago, the room built in this temple was rented out to a cooperative society. The people of this society appointed a watchman named Wajid Ali to maintain it here. He gradually removed the idols installed here and eventually gained control of the entire temple.
