Beware of public statements, otherwise the relations between the two countries will be affected
India reacts 4 days after the Indian States shown as a part of Bangladesh map
New Delhi – Mahfooz Alam, Adviser to Mohammad Yunus, the Chief of the interim government in Bangladesh, has posted on X, India’s Bengal, Tripura and a part of Assam in Bangladesh map on the anniversary of the creation of Bangladesh on 16th December. The post was withdrawn after protest. India’s External Affairs Ministry has reacted to this post after 4 days. Randheer Jaiswal, the spokesperson of the External Affairs Ministry, said in a press conference, “we have come to know that the post has been removed, still we want to remind them to be careful about such public statements. One must be responsible while indulging in such posts. Time and again India has shown interest in improving bilateral relations, but such action will affect the relations between the two countries.
Since August, there have been 2,200 cases of violence against Hindus, in Bangladesh
Randheer Jaiswal said, “After Sheikh Hasina’s ousting on 5th August 2024; 2,200 cases of violence have been registered in Bangladesh. In the same period in Pakistan also 112 such incidents have occurred. Indian Government has taken these incidents seriously and expressed concern to the Bangladesh Government. India hopes that Bangladesh Government will take necessary action to protect Hindus and other minorities there. (It is ridiculous and foolish to have such expectations from the people of Jihadi mindset, how is it not understood by Indian Government even now ?)
Editorial PerspectiveBangladesh has no intentions to have any good relations with India, on the contrary it is provoking India. Every nationalist is puzzled about India’s suicidal Gandhigiri. |
