Bengaluru – BJP MP CT Ravi has been arrested by the police on charges of calling Women and Child Development Minister Lakshmi Hebbalkar a prostitute during proceedings in the Legislative Council. Ravi has denied the allegations against him. He said that he has never used such words for a woman minister.

Ravi has filed a written complaint saying, “If anything happens to me in jail, the responsibility will lie with the Congress and the Police.” His lawyer Chetan said that according to Ravi, his life is in danger.
