Pakistan’s missile manufacturing establishments banned
America slaps Pakistan
Washington (USA) – The US government has banned 4 establishments manufacturing Ballistic missiles : The ‘National Development Complex’ (NDC), Karachi-based ‘Akhtar and Sons Private Limited’, ‘Affiliates International’ and ‘Rockside’. These establishments are cooperating with Pakistan in the missile programme. Therefore, they are banned. Ballistic missiles are considered powerful missiles which can travel at 5,000 to 10,000 km per hour and hit targets.
US State Department spokesman Matthew Miller said that these entities were found involved in the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction. Therefore, action is taken against them. NDC is responsible for Pakistan’s ballistic missile programme, while the other 3 entities are providing equipments for the missile programme. Earlier in the same case, the US had banned entities from China and Belarus for their involvement in Pakistan’s ballistic missile programme.
