There is a demand for Hindu Rashtra from across the world : Swami Nischalananda Saraswati Purvanmaya Pith, Puri Shankaracharya

Pune, 18^thDecember – Prime Minister Narendra Modi cannot refer to this country as a Hindu Rashtra. It is not within the purview of the Constitution. This country was divided based on religions. Who were the ancestors of Prophet Mohammad and Jesus Christ ? If people tried to find them out, there would be no problem in making this country as a Hindu Rashtra. Creating Hindu Rashtra is not difficult for us. What we say, happens, and that happens what we say. The whole world is now demanding creation of a Hindu Rashtra, stated Jagadguru Swami Nischalananda Saraswati, Shankaracharya of Purvanmay Peeth, Puri while addressing a press conference organised by ‘Shrimat Jagatguru Puri Shankaracharya Swagat Samiti’ at ‘Miami Terrace’ on B T Kawade Road.

Shankaracharya further added, “The work related to education, finance, defence and service will be undertaken as per the ‘Varnas (the four social classes)’. Population will be under control without abortions. Life will be sans addictions. There will be a refined, secure, prosperous, educated service, virtuous service in the social set up of Hindu Rashtra. Everyone will find a path of worldly and spiritual progress.

Constitution that exists from the emergence of this universe, will be followed in Hindu Rashtra

Regarding ‘Manu-smruti’, he stated, “The Constitution which existed from the emergence of this universe, during the era of Shriram, Shrikrushna and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, gave us righteous governance, ‘Ram-Rajya’ and Bharat was ‘Vishwa- Guru’, will be followed in Hindu Rashtra.”

Hindus will be protected if they abide by Dharma

Shankaracharya stated that Hindu would be revered by abiding Dharma. Hindus are thinking only about their family and earning for them. If they live their lives by following their Dharma, service, remain united, they will be revered; else, they would be killed there (in Bangladesh) and even here (in India). Hindus had to run away from many places; therefore, remember God, chant His name.

Meaning of the word Hindu

While explaining the meaning of the word Hindu, Shankaracharya stated that there are two meanings of this word. The first is ‘The land from Himalaya to Kanyakumari is called Hindustan’ and the other meaning is ‘Hindu means who removes his own defects, inferiority and poverty.’
