Another abandoned temple found in Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh

Sambhal (UP) – After the discovery of a closed Shiva temple in the Muslim-majority Khaggu Sarai area of Sambhal, which had been abandoned for 46 years, another temple has been found in the Muslim-majority Sarai Tarin area of Sambhal. This is a Radha-Krushna temple, which is also said to be very old.

The Police have opened the temple. Inside the temple, there are 3-foot statues of Deity Hanuman and Radha-Krushna. Cleaning is being carried out in the temple. The people cleaning the temple mentioned that since today is Tuesday, the day of Bajrangbali, a prayer will be performed after the cleaning. Rishipal, a local, said that more than 200 Hindu families once lived here, but they migrated elsewhere after the 1978 riots.

‘Temple remained shut due to the migration of Hindus’ : Congress MP Imran Masood

Imran Masood

Congress MP Imran Masood questioned, why do you shout ‘Jai Shriram’ to spread hatred ? (Imran Masood never utters a word against those who raise ‘Allahu-Akbar’, ‘Nara-e-Takbir, or other such slogans for spreading hatred. Hindus will no longer tolerate such hypocritical preaching ! – Editor) Love is Jai Shriram. This is Rama’s country. (How many times did Imran Masood object to Babur demolishing such a temple of Ram and building a mosque there and how many times did he demand to rebuild Shriram Mandir there ? Why is he not talking about other temple sites in the country where mosques were built on temple sites ? – Editor) Where did the temple go ? The temple was right there. It was shut when people left. (Why did the Muslims encroach on the site of this temple ? Why did the Hindus have to flee from there ? Will Imran Masood answer these questions ? – Editor)

Demolition of the encroachment of the temple site begins

The encroachments near the Shiva temple found in Khaggu Sarai are being demolished by the landowner, Mateen. Worships and Aarti have already begun at this temple, and a large number of Hindus are coming for darshan.

Action taken against 4 mosques and 1 madarasa for electricity theft in Sambhal

There should now be an investigation into how electricity is being used in every mosque and madarasa across the country. If mosques and madarasas are using stolen electricity, Islamic clerics should speak against it, especially when theft is haram (prohibited) in Islam.

In the past 2 days, 90 crimes have been registered in Sambhal. Among them, 4 mosques and 1 madarasa were found using stolen electricity. A fine of around ₹1.75 crore has been collected in the past 2 days. In the last 3 months, Police in Sambhal District have registered 1,250 cases of electricity theft and imposed a fine of ₹5.20 crore. (Instead of just imposing fines, every rupee should be collected. If the fines are not paid, those responsible should be put behind bars ! – Editor)

Editorial Perspective

The BJP Government in Uttar Pradesh should now make efforts to resettle Hindus in these areas after finding temple and ensure their protection.
