110-year-old Saint Siyaram Baba of Madhya Pradesh passes away
Khargone (Madhya Pradesh) – The revered spiritual leader Siyaram Baba, aged 110, passed away on December 11, 2024, at his ashram in Bhattayan Buzurg, Madhya Pradesh, during the auspicious occasion of Mokshada Ekadashi and Gita Jayanti. His final moments were marked by the presence of numerous devotees who gathered to pay their respects. Despite battling pneumonia for the past ten days, he chose to return to his ashram for care, where he ultimately breathed his last at approximately 6:10 a.m. His death has prompted an outpouring of grief among followers nationwide, with thousands expected to attend his last rites scheduled for later today. For the last 3 days, devotees gathered at the ashram had been singing bhajans for his health. After the instructions of the state Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, a team of doctors was constantly monitoring his health. Chief Minister Yadav was to meet Baba on 11th December in the evening.

Who was Baba Siyaram ?
Siyaram Baba was known for his profound dedication to spirituality and service, primarily centered around the Narmada River. Born in 1933 in Bhavnagar, Gujarat, he began his spiritual journey at just 17 years old. After years of learning under various gurus and traveling to sacred sites, he settled in Bhattayan in 1962, where he devoted himself to meditation and community service. Here he installed an idol of Hanuman. There he used to chant Ramnam every morning and evening. He also used to recite Ramcharimanas.
