New Delhi – A case has been filed in court claiming that the Jama Masjid in Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh, was originally the Harihar Temple. Advocate Vishnu Shankar Jain, representing Hindus in this legal battle, has reportedly received death threats. A social media account under the handle @nidhijhabuhar, identifying as ‘Nidhi Jha,’ shared a photograph of Advocate Jain with the caption, “Muslims, recognize his face properly.” Following this, Advocate Jain lodged a complaint at the Cyber Police Station in Sambhal district, leading to the registration of a case by the authorities.

Sambhal Superintendent of Police, Krishna Kumar Bishnoi, stated that a case has been registered against the ‘X’ account at the Cyber Police Station, and the cyber-crime squad is actively investigating the matter. Efforts are currently underway to identify the individual operating this account and their location. “No one who disrupts the harmony will be spared,” he assured.
