CM announces Rs 36 daily subsidy per cow

Raipur – Honouring the statement made by Chhattisgarh State Cow Service Commission Patron, Sant Shri Ram Balakdas, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai announced that Goumata would soon be accorded the status of ‘State Mother’ in Chhattisgarh. Additionally, the CM declared a daily subsidy of Rs 36 per cow for Goshalas. The oath taking ceremony for Visheshwar Patel, the newly appointed President of the Chhattisgarh State Cow Service Commission, was recently held at the Deendayal Auditorium in Raipur. The event was attended by Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma, Home Minister Arun Sawji, and various saints and spiritual leaders, including Sant Ram Balakdas.

1. While addressing the audience, Sant Ram Balakdas remarked, “Saints do not request, they command. Hence, we direct the Government to accord Goumata the status of ‘State Mother’ in Chhattisgarh and increase the subsidies provided to goshala committees.”

2. Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai supported the directive, announcing, “In Chhattisgarh, Goumata will soon be declared ‘State Mother.’Additionally, effective today, a daily subsidy of Rs 36 per cow will be provided for the 35,000 cows in Goshalas across the State.”
