‘Worried about attempts to ban ISKCON in Bangladesh’ : British MP
Conservative MP Bob Blackman says in the British Parliament
London (Britain) – “I condemn the attacks on Hindus in Bangladesh and the arrest of ISKCON’s Chinmoy Krishna Das Prabhu. I am concerned that a petition seeking a ban on ISKCON in Bangladesh has been filed in the High Court there. Freedom of religion should be preserved at the global level,” stated Bob Blackman, Member of Parliament of the Conservative Party from Harrow East in Britain, in the Parliament there. He has posted a video of his statement on ‘X’.
At this time, Blackman added that the British Parliament has published a written statement on the status of minority Hindus in Bangladesh. I appeal to the Parliament to make a direct comment on this. Earlier, the famous American singer of African descent, Mary Milben, also raised her voice about the suffering of Hindus in Bangladesh.
Editorial PerspectiveIn India, apart from a few Hindu political leaders like Yogi Adityanath and Pawan Kalyan, other leaders do not make any statements about the Hindus in Bangladesh. The question has arisen whether the leaders here are willing to protect Hindutva or not. |
