|
Narmadapuram (Madhya Pradesh) – A Christian missionary institution in Itarsi, Madhya Pradesh, has been accused of sexually exploiting a minor Hindu girl and plotting her religious conversion. Former Chairperson of the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR), Priyank Kanoongo, stated that the institution deliberately avoided filing a police complaint because their intent was to pressure the girl into conversion following her sexual exploitation.

Key Details :
1. In a post shared on ‘X’ (formerly Twitter), Priyank Kanoongo disclosed that a vulnerable Hindu girl residing in a Christian missionary-run orphanage in Narmadapuram was abducted by a Christian youth.
2. After a few days, the girl was placed under the supervision of the youth’s sister. Four days later, the accused took her to his house, where he raped her repeatedly over the course of a week.
3. Kanoongo accused the district administration, the District Collector, and the Superintendent of Police of negligence, calling it a case of human trafficking. He alleged that due to appeasement policies, officials attempted to shield the Christian institution. (Christian-favouring administration! – Editor)
4. Based on the victim’s complaint, a case has now been registered against the accused. Notably, the same accused had a prior rape case filed against him. (Had the police acted on the earlier complaint, this offender would not have dared to commit another heinous crime! – Editor)
Editorial PerspectiveAnother example of how Christian institutions have become hubs of such heinous crimes. Secularists never speak out against such institutions—please note their silence. |
