Hindus in the US march to protest attacks on Hindus in Canada and Bangladesh

California (US) – The Indians residing in the Silicon Valley took out a protest march against the atrocities on the Hindus in Canada and Bangladesh. A meeting was also held after the rally. The US government was appealed to hold the governments of Canada and Bangladesh responsible for violation of human rights and protection of Hindu minority.

1.The participants expressed disappointment over the lack of proper investigation into the attack on Hindus outside the Hindu Sabha temple in Brampton Canada. They raised slogans, “Stop Khalistani terrorism”, “Protect Hindus in Canada”, “Stop Islamic terrorism”, “Protect Bangladeshi Hindus”.

2.Hindus said, “we have seen the videos of “Khalistanis marching into temple premises and beating up the men, women and children. The Hindus who had gone to the temple to celebrate Diwali, were chased. It is a dangerous situation. We also saw that the Police were in the groups with the Khalistanis because they were also beating Hindu devotees. We have lost faith in Trudeau government, as there is no protection to Hindus in Canada even for their fundamental human rights.

3.Dr Ramesh Japra, a member of ‘American for Hindus’ organisation, criticised attacks by Khalistanis and Bangladeshi fanatics on Canadian Hindus. He said, “We are one world, one family and one future”.

4.Pushpita Prasad of the ‘Coalition of Hindus in North America’ expressed her concern over her outfit being targeted in Canada by ‘Sikhs for Justice’.

Editorial Perspective

Hindus in the US raise their voice against atrocities on Hindus anywhere in the world. It is a lesson to be learnt for Indian Hindus. Forget about support for Hindus in the world, Indian Hindus do not support their own community members who face injustice in India itself.
