Car falls from partially constructed bridge into river after using Google Maps : 3 killed !

Incident in Dataganj (Uttar Pradesh)

Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) – In the last few years, it has become routine to go to the desired place using Google Maps. While it seems to be beneficial to some extent, most of them have also experienced that it is misleading many times. A similar incident took place on the Khalpur-Dataganj road in the state. Three friends were going to a wedding using Google Maps App in their car. They followed the route shown by the ‘Google map’ when their car reached a partially constructed bridge and fell into the river, all three died on the spot.

The youths were on their way from Bareilly to Dataganj in Badaun district when the vehicle fell directly into the Ramganga river from a height of 50 feet after the incomplete bridge abruptly ended, police said.

There were no barricades on the end side of the bridge, which was in a partially constructed condition,  so the driver did not even know that the bridge was partially constructed and that is why the accident took place,  the relatives alleged.
